나의 작업은 공존을 중심으로 타자를 이해하고 자아를 성찰하는 과정이다. 인간 존재와 관계, 무의식과 환경의 영향을 탐구하며, 부산의 노년 여성들을 주요 대상으로 삼는다. 그들의 삶을 통해 지역성과 여성의 연속성을 발견하고, 세대 간 혐오·이상화된 모성·나이 듦의 편견에 질문을 던진다. 회화와 드로잉을 통해 사회가 고정한 감수성을 재고하며 공존의 가능성을 시각적으로 탐색한다.

My artistic practice centers on the concept of coexistence, which I approach as a necessary process of deeply understanding others and, in turn, reflecting on the self. I explore the intricate dynamics between human existence, relationships, the unconscious, and the environment, focusing primarily on elderly women in Busan. Through their lives, I trace the continuity of place and womanhood, while questioning intergenerational conflict, idealized motherhood, and social prejudices surrounding aging. Through painting and drawing, I seek to reconsider the sensitivities shaped by society and offer a visual inquiry into the potential and possibilities of coexistence.
